When it runs out I really must try one of the economy packs, if only to get it out of the cupboard!
Wow, driving to Italy!
I am currently fascinated with the idea of driving to GreeceBasically drive to the Chunnel, drive across Europe, then ferry from Italy. Works out like a 3k km+trip  How much do you buy?
Great gunns on the gardening.
I love lavander.
Reminds me of Provence.
Boo to another sleepless night.
Thanks Beanie, I was on fire today :T
Planted the lavender, the hydrangeas and fitted the hose. It was a !!!!!! - 4 5cm holes into a brick wall and completely self-assembly. I got two nasty burns on my fingers when a red hot drill bit sheared off and I tried to take it out of the chuck without gloves
Also managed to spend 5 hours on a cooking project - pressed pork belly braised in a ginger and chicken broth  Even got DD involved in making the HM stock0 -

SL - re the coffee (and bearing in mind I don't drink coffee *at all* and am no expert) would it be worth mixing the mediocre stuff in in a very low ratio with the nicer stuff? I've been doing this in risotto with 1oz of quinoa to 5oz of rice and you can't taste the difference and it slowly uses it up/bulks out the good stuff. I have no idea - this might be a ridiculous idea, so feel free to ignore!!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I'm confident they'll do the right thing by all the people affected, they genuinely do seem to be one of the "nicer" banks, all things considered.
Having worked for banks the whole of my working life, I feel for the TSB staff. The front line staff in the branches and call centre will be dealing with all the irate customers. The staff will be putting up with all sorts of abuse from angry customers.
As a customer, I haven't even attempted to access the TSB web site yet, but TSB isn't my main account. For me, the increase to 5% interest on the current account is good news. The TSB will pay for any customer losses, but it will cost them millions. A nightmare for all concernedEarly retired - 18th December 2014

It really wasn't that interesting
Unfortunately I spent another £67.99 on an electric scarifier after spending 20 minutes scarifying a square meter of lawn  It is a fantastic tool and I managed to fill our wheelie bin and pull 9 bin bags worth of thatch out of our back garden this afternoon!!! The bad news is that that's perhaps only 60% of the moss... I sprayed some moss killer and am now inside after 6 backbreaking hours. Feeling virtuous, but like I've had the !!!! kicked out of me. Ibuprofen should help :rotfl:0 -

Sounds like you're getting on well with the gardening, Ed.
As for driving to Greece, have you seen how crazily they drive on the continent and the state of their cars?
I miss drinking coffee; often leave here craving it, though. :rotfl:2018 totals:
