Ok, so there may be one more purchase, but I can't find a deal online (looking for a weed grabber)...
Edit: found one with great reviews for less than half price of the one with the naff TV adverts. I'm actually done now, cannot believe I've spent over £100 on gardening stuff
I read that as just bought a hoUse!!! (in the style of Gally!) :rotfl::o It wasn't until I read the next line about one more purchase that I re-read the first one!:rotfl:
I share your pain - we spent £107 on garden related stuff at weekend - and there's likely double that still to go.
Our lawn is also shocking - we re-turfed a few years ago (5?) and it was beautiful. However, the neighbours etc don't keep up with removal of dandelions so we are again infested - and appear to have got some sort of creeping buttercup relation come through under the fence. As we have guinea pigs we can't use anything too extreme to kill things (weeds) off
Neighbours-over-the-road have just had their back lawn replaced with artificial grass - I can understand why!(they've gone for good looking, nice soft -feeling stuff - but our guinea pigs wouldn't like it if we did ours! :rotfl:)

In fairness, I'm 99% sure we're the deadbeat neighbours in this scenario :rotfl:
I can't abide artificial grass - it's quite slippy in winter and just looks wrong. Also what about bugs? Where are they going to live? :think:0 -
I'm in the artificial gang... No mud in the house from dog or kids. 20mins after it finishes raining its dry and kids can go out again. And as for the bugs, i made a kind decision that they could live with the neighbours!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
