Sorry to hear about your relative, Ed.
Daisy, thank you. Life has been busy and I've not thought about holidays though my wife did ask the other day when we may go on holiday this year. Still quite like the idea of Scotland in May especially if we can be lucky enough to get good weather.2018 totals:

Woke up early from a bad dream. Sort of like a posh Jurassic Park meets The Prisoner. Dinosaurs eating people. Controlling drug administering socialites denying there was a problem and trying to stop people from escaping. Pitch the idea to Hollywood? :eek:0

I am noting the date of each payment and have noted the current Unit Cost so that I can make up the shortfall once the CCs are gone. If the value drops over the interim period, I will pay in whatever the missed monthly payments were without 'penalising' the ISA for any lost value.
Still catching up with occasional bursts of reading so it looks like no one has picked up on this - apologies if there is a discussion I've yet to read.
:eek::eek: jeezo, (was what I initially thought when I read this)
:rotfl: did you say somewhere on here that you were catholic cos you sure love piling the guilt on :rotfl::rotfl:
You don't think, on rereading this, that maybe just perhaps emotion has overtaken common sense here ? You are just piling up future debt for yourself, future guilt to try to 'pay it back to tbe penny' and maybe also some other future thing that you will have to offset or never do because you are paying back this.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Maybe just take one tiny step more and decide it's all offset against all the love, food, love, bigger house, days out, love, ice dreams, love and laughter you all provide each other by BEING A FAMILY each and every day. I wonder if sometimes we get fixated on the value of money that we can put in spreadsheets (holds hand up to being guilty of this) whist forgetting it's just a tool to be used every day.
Anyway, feel free to ignore, popping off again back several pages

I wouldn't get too concerned Daisy, we'll probably be talking a couple thousand quid
