Does anyone else use Clearscore? They're painfully slow to update, currently £6k+ out of sync with my credit balance.

As for the coming apocalypse - good coffee will take you a long way, its true. I can see how things *might* go the wrong way for a while - if we had a cyberattack and then a pandemic got going, for instance. Any really big disaster is made up of several downward spirals. I think the peak everything situation is more of a worry than rising costs. I've not been reading (post-)apocalyptic novels but I can see that the world we know isn't going to last for much longer.

Sorry Ed, didn't mean to bring the thread down! I didn't mean a catastrophe per se, just that resources will start running low/costs will increase to the extent that people will need to look to simpler, more local solutions. (I guess resource-loss is likely to cause conflict etc. though).
