£12.82 paid off a CC, I am lower than a bow legged caterpillar today
Just checking out some electronic 'filing' and a couple of my lovely colleagues have put 2018 work in the folders for last year - sigh! I had thought that one folder for current year and one folder for everything else ever was reasonably sensible :rotfl:
On a more positive note, C25K went very well last night, I finish in a fortnight and then plan on starting a 10k training plan :j0 -
Went grocery shopping - feeling relatively virtuous as it's largely fruits, veg, vegetarian pretend meat and a sprinkling of organic stuff. Used £30 of vouchers which have been recycled through the groceries budget and paid off a CC :j
Edit: Also used £15.10 of our Amazon voucher stash and paid that back off a CC.0 -
All sounding good todayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Where's the halo-wearing emoji when you need it?!
Glad to hear you sounding a bit more chipper, Ed. More please! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Sorry to hear about the work colleague.
What's the vegetarian pretend meat like? We have quite a few meat free meals but never tried the pretend meat as I really don't like the idea of it.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

I can't do chipper, but I do intend on sharing some chips for lunch with Mrs EWhat's the vegetarian pretend meat like? We have quite a few meat free meals but never tried the pretend meat as I really don't like the idea of it.
I quite like analogues as a stepping stone between meat and having to figure out what to do with a mass of pulses and vegetables that I'm used to eating as sides, not the main event. Like all things, they range from the good to the awful. For example, I quite like vegetarian sausages and Qu0rn do 'fillets' that are great for adding into a stir fry and a passable clone of smoky bacon  On the other hand, I've never managed to make anything from textured vegetable protein mince or chunks that tasted of much (and I consider myself a competent cook).0 -
All my payments for February have gone out this morning and I'm feeling skint again! We have ok jobs, but it still takes my breath away that the mortgage and council tax alone are over £1,000/month
£0.84 paid off a CC and about £150 in minimum payments out as well :j0 -

I know it will get better beanie, the first few years of a mortgage are always horrible as all your money goes to interest and precious little to capital.0

This is so true.
Not to brag at all as it has been a long long hard slog but my interest is now less than a quid a day.
