Had the report today, and it looks as though she recommended standard care and higher mobility :j . Very pleased with the whole process, it was quick, fair & much improved on the old DLA system.
One question poppy might be able to help me with, the assessor has said I should have a review in one year. I understand that they do this several months before the end date so if I have an award for one year I will be reapplying almost immediately, is this correct poppy?0 -

Some don't have a review date, just an end date. If this is the case for you then they'll write to you a few months before asking if you want to re-apply. You then ring PIP and they'll send you out the PIP2 forms. Good luck.
Update on my daughters claim......report still at audit, well it was yesterday morning :mad:0 -

Thanks Poppy, sorry to hear about your daughters still being in audit 😩 let’s hope it’s not much longer now and you get good news. Let us know how you get on x0 -
Just to point out - the Atos appointed HCP who conducts the assessment has no right or need to carry out a physical examination.0

Hi. Just wondered if you had received your decision yet?
We are still waiting for a copy of the report, mum had her assessment on 30th october, report requested on 1st nov but still nothing.
Does the copy of the report give some indication of points that could be awarded?
Thanks0 -
As you haven't recieved that report yet i'd ring DWP again and just check it's been recieved back. If it hasn't been recieved then they can't send you a copy until it has. Yes they mostly go with the report, it's rare for them to go against it.0

Just wondered as well, as mums DLA is due to end in 1 week, I did read somewhere that this will carry on until a decision has been made about PIP.
But what about Carer's Allowance? do we just phone them to advise we are currently awaiting a decision, and will this just carry on automatically or do we need to reapply?0 -
Thank you yes will give them a call in the morning.

Carers Allowance will also continue. If the PIP claim is unsuccessful then PIP will have already informed Carers and this will stop.0 -
Thank you so much Poppy12345
You an absolute star and appreciate your help0 -

Hi. Have you had any updates as yet with the claim?
We’ve heard nothing although the dwp received the assessors report a week ago, and we requested it on 1st nov, still not received no copy or decision. Last time I phoned was Monday, and they said copy hasnt been sent out to us yet and that they will put on a message again.0
