Yes they do!!! I bought a set from an independent kitchenware shop a few years ago and have since picked up matching jugs/steamers/pans etc from TkMaxx at very reasonable prices. Original ones are wearing very well and I'm very pleased with them.

    :)

Thank you, I am happy to know they do other things in the range, I shall be amending my birthday/christmas list accordingly.

I have to say, mine were a wedding present 25 years ago and they were staggeringly expensive then, thankfully they are more reasonably priced now.

I have raised two kids and a hungry husband on those pans and still going strong, so I think they've paid their way!

Looks like Debenhams have 25% off Circulon until the weekend and free delivery for online orders. I could do with starting to replace some cheapies i bought in Tesco a few years back (false economy) so I may start off with one or two when they are reduced.

I bought back some Scanpans from the US in March....like this set the Scanpan CTX http://www.amazon.com/Scanpan-CTX-10-Piece-Deluxe-Set/dp/B0034GJ16G/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1305670314&sr=1-2 except I have a saute pan with lid, frying pan and saucepan (3 set).

They are just excellent non stick pans, you can use metal utensils in them, have a lifetime guarantee too.

I don't really use anything else anymore and I have a lot of cast iron which was a former favourite.

Best bit was I managed to get my set reduced in a sale from orginally $500 to $80, best bargain ever.

I fancies scan pans but have t say reading around the non stick doesn't seem to be as robust as they claim so would be interested to see how you are getting on in a few years.

I vote for steel with a copper base for saucepans (I have stellar and had them for 17 years now) and then I just have mid price non stick frying pan that I replace when it starts to peel - my current ikea one is standing up really well though.

If I had pots of money I'd go for all clad copper core but at £200 a pan its not going to happen!

My own preference is enamalled pans. I'm slowly changing all my cookware to this. Have had roasting tin, baking sheet and a stock pot for 10 years and still as good as they always were. They were about £5 to £10 a peice in Woolies, so not exactly top of the range stuff :)

    All in regular daily use:
Prestige - stainless steel with copper bottoms, wedding present 20 years ago still fabulous although handle colour has faded slightly because of dishwasher.
John Lewis - Jonell range again in stainless steel; about 15 years old and still in brilliant condition. Metal handles so no fading issues.

Have been thorough loads of non-stick milk and frying pans when they peel, and Tesco pans when the handle falls off.

LOL, you think that's bad, I have Cristel pans (from back in the days I could afford them). They are brilliant and I love the detachable handles but... and I buy cheap non-stick Tefal frying pans when Argos have them on offer.

My mum spent a lot of money on a set of heavy stainless steel but chose not to have the version with metal handles because she was worried that she'd burn her hands. Big mistake, she couldn't use them in the oven and over the years the handles have started to perish (not to mention the ones she melted LOL). She thought they'd last her lifetime and we'd be grateful to have them handed on to us - ermmm, no thanks!
