Hmmm.. it's in the oven at the mo, dough was a bit sloppier than expected but we'll see when its cooked how it's done!!
Didn't cook the onion in the end but cut the bacon into really small pieces so hoping it'll turn out ok!!
Thanks for all your help! Will report back in the morning

I make garlic bread using the pizza dough and then spread it with several cloves of garlic sweated very gently in olive oil. Bake one and freeze one uncooked for another day - my pizza setting suggests 11oz flour which makes 2 focaccia or pizzas. You can use soft garlic butter instead - we used to before the dairy free regime!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Hi all,
Very happy to report that the pizza was delicious... OH even said it was better than anything we've ever had from Domino's and we didn't have to pay extra to add extra toppings!!!
Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated as always,

I have just made HM pizza - with pizza bases from pizza counter at Asda, with tom pizza topping, spinach, ricotta and cherry toms on
Can I freeze these?0 -
I'm no expert but asda freeze theirs so I can't see a problem. Also theirs can be cooked straight from frozen too.
How much did the pizza bases cost? I buy their pizzas so might give this a go if it works out cheaper.
I know someone will shout at me and tell me to make my own bases but 'i'm not that good I'll probably ruin them.0 -
i think it was about £1.20 for 2 medium ones - not bad me thinks.
im gonna make them and freeze them and see what happens!!0 -
because me and my partner live alone i find it easier to buy a no frills pack of 10 asda cheese and tomatoe pizzas and add my toppings to it. it think they are around 98p and one each and some veggies etc are quite enough for a good filling dinner. thought it might help someone reading this thread.
kind regards

i freeze hm pizzas, with no problems so far!0

make your own base for about 15p max...even cheaper and totally freezable at any stage.
i have successfully frozen dough, plain bases and fully made pizzas.
bases really do cost pennies to make and was one of my 'famous' meals in my student days...i'm always amazed that a takeaway pizza can cost over £10!!
look in archived threads, i've posted my recipe before...
