Hello uncle pablo, that doesnt surprise me with the ref number,Thames are part of AKTIV Kapital who took over Olympia`s business i believe.
AKtiv was originally a Norwegian company who are based here under the names of Thames Credit hence the same ref numbers you have.
Take a look here

Recieved this from Buchanan Clark and Wells this morning:
Dear Sir/Madam
We must speak to you urgently regarding the above account.
Please telephone the number below on receipt of this correspondence.
Yours sincerely

This tells me that they definately do not have the CCA as they are trying everything they can to get some sort of payment even though they cannot by law as they have no CCA.Do you think i'm right?
Also, they are trying anything they can now as time is running out.Sent 14+ letter out to them on 17/10,time up on 14/11.0 -
I have successfully reclaimed my charges from DCAs. Thieving scumbags.
I actually wanted to go to court on 1 or 2 of them. Alas, it was not to be.
Remember, there are laws there to protect you.
No need to be afraid.
I did have 1 letter from a DCA gviing me my charges back and saying I was irresponsible for victimising 1 of their staff down the phone. I was shocked. I'm a sweetie really.0 -
P.S. Jonnyboy, yes you are right. I would now write to them, point out they are in breach of the law and to stop harrassing you with IMMEDIATE effect.0

Send a PM to weller - she has just the letter you need, and I can't find a link to it. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
Dear Mr Nice DCA,
on dd/mm/yy I wrote to you under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 requesting a signed copy of my credit agreement.
Under legal timescales allowed, this document has not been forthcoming.
This now means that this debt is no longer legally enforceable until you attend court to get permission.
If any further action is taken by yourselves over this matter without the lawful procedures laid down in the CCA19740 -
woops sorry.
In the CCA being followed, then i will have no action but to instigate further action myself.
I trust that this matter is now resolved.
Yous Faithfully,

Hi, I'm really new to this forum (or I don't post much is what I mean), but I'm up to my eyeballs in debt and have been reading some of these threads about CCA's and SAR's with debt collection agencies and I'm really confused.
As we all know (I think) these DCA's are real !!!!!!!s and I'm being pestered by 4 of them - Cabot Financial, Fredrickson International, Westcot Credit Services and 'Blair, Oliver & Scott Solicitors'.
Some of these debts are quite old but not over 6 years and I have paid some money to these people over the last 18 months or so. But they are so aggressive in their approach that I feel like biting back and it would seem that I can do that in some fashion by asking for a CCA?? Is this right?
Can someone explain to me what this process is all about and if I do it is there are slim chance that I can get the debt removed?
It all sounds to easy to be true to be honest.
Many thanks....0
