How do you share feeding times for new baby?

Well I must say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has posted. There have been some very different opinions but I want you all to know that all are appreciated.

As it happens, at this stage (4 weeks tomorrow), we are using the method of my wife does the night feeds and I get 6 hours in the spare room but help out as much as I can each night and am fitting in as many morning nappy changes as allowed (when both wife and baby are awake) before I go to work.

Obviously I will try to do as much as I can on weekends but my wife is quite hard on herself and tries to do the whole lot but I have to stay vigilant and not allow her to - I would imagine this is something that new mothers often try to do but are far too hard on themselves.

The guilt from me is still there but the comments on here have really helped both of us understand that even thought it would be perfect to share the workload 50/50, when mummy is breastfeeding, daddy's role is somewhat limited.
Obviously everybody's situation is different and you will all find your own routines but this thread has been SO useful to hear other people's methods.
