  • Hello beautiful diary world.

So I do my Shadow shifts next week
After that I start my rota.

Unless I do overtime which i do plan to do regularly. I'll have a 7 day break between the one week and the next.
I'll explain so one week I do sat and sun
The next I do weds and Friday
Then it goes back to my sat shift the following week.

Means I can take one week holiday and actually have 12 days off. (If I'm wise with my holidays)

I have e learning at home to do tomorrow which I'm paid for the time taken to do it :)

I can already see the advantages to this job vs my old one. Also I'm on more pay for less responsibility but I do plan to work my way up the ladder there but as I work my way up and complete qualifications my pay will Rise.

Anyway I'm hoping I can update tomorrow with our savings :j

  • Hi Everyone !

I went for my colonoscopy today. Was giggling before due to nerves. . giggling and talking all the way through it due to gas and air. (didn't have anything else) . And still smiling giggling and laughing after.

They took 4 biopsies. I have to go back on the 7th of Feb as they couldn't continue after so far due to a blockage in my bowel. (stools) so I have to take other stuff (think it's stronger) . And stick to a certain diet for a week before (fun... :( ). I need to speak to work as I will have to have time off as next time they want me to have the stuff that makes me drowsy. Overall it wasn't a bad or even unpleasant experience to be honest. (then again I work in healthcare so ... ) I'm just gutted I can't just have gas and air next time. Hoping I won't be waiting too long for my biopsy results.

    Hope everyone is well. :)

    Take care x

  • Our first bonus has been paid to our life time ISA account.

I have also transferred some money to round it up to a nice even number

£2400 in house fund as of today

I'll be setting up an account for partner this week to make the most of it.

That would mean if we save £4000 in each account we will get £1000 extra in each account.

We would be stupid to not take advantage of it.

So that is a must do on Tuesday

Then save as much as possible for 12 months so we can keep the bonus'

I can save £4k before April then £4k after April plus £4k in partners account plus the bonuses should bring it to £15k . Plus whatever else we can save
