Unread posts link not working

I hardly keep up with any topics now as it's not tablet friendly in the original format and impossible in the newer one.

sorry to hijack this thread

i cannot post on ANY thread without quoting someone

i cannot start any threads as the start thread button simply does not exist anywhere on the site

just speaking to someone about this via pm but as a new member cant send a pm more than once in an hour

any ideas?

has this happened before, is my account a dud

just wanted to get some advice about something else have wound up posting this and sending a pm and spending all my time working out why everyone else can see a post new thread button and i cant?

i also cant reply to threads without quoting someone

any help please?

That is not usual, but could be related to recent anti-spam measures.

Now over 7 months. I genuinely don't understand how others are able to use the forum properly without this standard functionality.

Can someone let me know if it will ever be fixed?

Hi

I'm sorry for the delay replying.

This functionality doesn't prevent forumites reading the forum and the only mentions of it I'm aware of are on this thread so we can't prioritise it right now.

However, we're awaiting the results of a forum strategy consultation. The results will feed into next steps for the Forum which may include a replatform, providing functionality that does the same thing.

We can't give you any more information than that so I'm going to close the thread.
