Are you planning to pursue any of these ventures on Facebook? If you are using your picture etc within Facebook and experiencing lots of interest then I'm pretty sure this is the same as real life.

You'd think that wouldnt you but maybe I take a better photo than I really look haha are you on facebook yourself?

I've been asked out to dinner this weekend but I'm kinda unsure I think I'll leave it another few weeks of chatting then see what happens, although it's hard work keeping up with this getting to know people lark! I'm not really looking for 'the one' I just like expanding my friend network and if I meet someone lovely in the process, all the better.

Any news from the weekend from anyone?

:rotfl:You are as bad as me! I had a habit of chatting away online to someone... promising to meet up.... backing out.... promising to meet.... backing out.... I always found it tough because meeting up was such a big thing that I was afraid in case it didnt work out.... silly really i guess!

:rotfl: Thankfully it isnt just me then! I havent really spoke to this guy much so dont really know too much about him, and I'm really nervous as this month it's Valentines (extra pressure) and my birthday (extra pressure) so I'd like to just wait and take my time

Im going to be a pain and warn.... dont take too long! It is easy for someone to get attached to someone based on online conversations. It is easy to 'fill in the blanks' that you do not know when online and can be a real shock (and disappointment) when you meet them for real.

I have never done it via facebook (mainly due to being married when FB became popular!). Do you just surf for pictures or words in their profile and send them a message?

LOL, yes i once went to a Salsa night at the empire and it was such a let down, no Doritos, no dips nothing!
