That depends on age and what sort of person you are after!2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
Being a "Money Saving" Forum, I have to say this is a GENIOUS way of meeting that end.. How better to save money than to find a man to buy you everything.. Bloody Marvellous!! Wish I’d have thought of that!! :rotfl:Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0

I'm shocked there has been no offers so far from one of the Norn Iron club single Males:D
I'm not 1 BTW, happily married, I'm married, she's happy:D
Have you tried speed dating, or an agency, or just do it the old fashioned way and go out for a drink and a boogie at a club;)
Good luck in your quest, and I hope you strike OIL (Old, Ill and Loaded) if thats your cup of tea:rotfl:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
The Bot?
It depends on what you mean by "decent".Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Avoid clubs!!!
If you want to talk go to a bar, usually Ollies, Cafe Vaudeville or the like are good. I met a lovely guy in Bar seven and the salsa bar next door is a great ice breaker bar!
Go out and have fun for yourself and remember it's always when your not looking that you meet someone, says she that is single haha

Decent guys.............last of a dying breed, we are all found on MSE forums.
Belfast can be a difficult place to meet people, there is still the stigma attached of speed dating events and the likes.
I was in Cafe Vaudeville some time ago, it was a good mix of people, you can dine there and livens up a bit later on. I'm single and wasnt out to look for someone that evening but there were certainly some opportunities to chat to people.
I was nearly mauled by packs of females when making my way back from the bar. Steady on ladies I thought, these drinks are expensive and I dont want to spill a drop.... you see money related.
Maybe it was the round of drinks they were after and not me??
On the downside for you ladies, the NI census shows that women out number men by 2:1 from 20's - 50's age group, higher still for the 50+ age group.0 -

What?
And why have you not divulged this information until now?????
If I'd known that, I may not have had to agree to get married in March
Happy really, just surprised that the figures show that much of a difference. Although as EM says, bars can be a nightmare sometimes with gangs of 'young ladies' out on the hunt. They have no shame. In my day they did things differently, waited for you to ask them to dance....blah, blah, blah.
Dammit....I am getting old.0 -
