We saw one refurbished property in LS7 and the seller wanted extra money on top of asking price for integrated appliances dishwasher, washing machine & hob/oven. These were fully integrated in the kitchen unit. He said if not he would remove them
Has anyone heard of this happening before?0 -
Hey guys
Happy New Year to all!
Back on the house hunt and thank god market is picking up this month. We’ve been looking at few properties since new year and exploring new areas.
Anybody have any insight to the houses in Primley Park Avenue/Road/grove area & also the cul de sac type buildings in Hawks nest in LS17?
We’ve increased our budget to £300k now but it still isn’t buying us a mansion so we’re thinking of compromising on bits as long as we get the location right.
Firstly if a house has a smallish garden & very small box room as 3rd bedroom do you think that is a big compromise?0 -
Hi Charlotte,
I thought I would just message you as I think my partner and I are in a similar situation but over in Manchester. We live in one of the less desirable areas of Manchester and have been looking to move/buy our first home together. During the time we’ve been living here (almost 3 years in our current flat and 6 years in another), it has been difficult to meet with like minded people and I feel I’ve lost a lot of independence. I’m hoping that wherever we move to we can find friends and go out for coffees, pub quizzes, walks and to the shops rather than being so isolated! It is interesting and so difficult to work out the priorities and things to compromise on, but hopefully we will get there.
I wish you all the best with your search and hope you find your home soon0 -
Hi Charlotte / Orange Crush. Interested to know how you both got on in your search as I am now in a very similar position!0
