Massive congratulations xxx. I knew you could do it! Try not to tell your current employer where they can shove it until you have signed papers though eh? :rotfl:

Thank you everyone :o I kind of feel like I dreamed it all :rotfl: I will hopefully get the job offer on Monday and can hand in my notice then. I will write it and keep it in my bag so I am ready ;) Don't worry Lucifa! It was tempting to do it yesterday but don't want to shoot myself in the foot in case something goes wrong. I really should have tried to firm up what would happen next when she offered me the job, but I was caught off guard and didn't really know what to say/ do. I'm a silly sausage.

Did not get on last night as I got home from work and was sitting in bed with OH watching something then promptly fell asleep :rotfl: I don't really like napping, but I could feel it happening and didn't have the energy to stop myself! Turns out it wasn't a nap though, it was a full blown sleep! Woke up at quarter to 7 feeling absolutely fab. I have, however, lost a whole evening of my life

Still dark outside at the moment so don't plan on moving from my bed for a little while.

    Today I need to:
    1. Take a few returns to the post office
    2. Laundry
    3. Find cover for sofa (as has gone AWOL at some point)
    4. Go for a walk

Nice and easy day and am hoping for an early night :o Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

  • Yesterday I got home from work and fell asleep at 4pm... Woke up this morning at 7.33. I have no idea what's going on. I seem to be endlessly tired. Maybe it's the cold/ dark. Anyway! Got the job offer through. I am absolutely over the moon! Off work today but am going to go into town and potter about getting a few Christmas bits so will nip in and hand my notice in.

I actually can't believe this is happening :o It all feels very surreal!

Got paid yesterday so am going to spend the next hour or so moving money where it needs to go/ making payments/ sorting my spreadsheet. Will be back on later to have a nosey around :)

  • Exciting times lovely! xx

You clearly needed that sleep :D

    Hi Lovely.

There's some bugs going around at the moment - the sleep could be your body fighting one off. I did much the same last night.

When does the new job start?
