I used to think these reward schemes were a waste of time, but since I've been BR they sure have come in handy with how many points I've racked up.BR 4/10/07

My favourites are the giant strawberries. It's tempting
What are texan bars? I kind of remember the name? I don't know what all this wispa fuss is about, I didn't notice they'd stopped making them.:A

Oh I wish Snaggles - am I right in thinking I remember you posting about having SPD in late pregnancy? I'm practically immobile with it, bored stiff, and want this baby OUT - but I reckon I've got a way to go

At the beginning of pregnancy reading about medical intervention made me freeze and want to cry - internal examinations and the like - yesterday I found myself begging the midwife for a sweep and bursting into years when she said no!
Mind you, some babies have to be born on their due date, surely...
Yes, I had SPD with both babies - VERY bad with Ryan but not quite as bad with Natasha. It's horrible though, poor you. When you do give birth, try to stay upright (kneeling/standing/crouching) for as long as possible, as lying on your back with your legs apart puts a lot of strain on it and can make it worse (that's what happened with Ryan). I wanted to give birth kneeling, but because Natasha was in distress I had to lie down so they could do all the monitoring and examining (and also for the episiotomy....bleurgh). Stu and the midwife supported my legs/knees though to stop them getting too wide apart.
I've still got a bit of it now, but it's gradually improving and doesn't really stop me doing anything now except standing on one leg, or (for some strange reason) sleeping on my right side."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hmmmmmm can't find anything else on there to 3 for 2 it with at the moment. I'm so into this DFW thing that £35 for a toy seems like a massive extravagence. Last year I would have bought it no questions asked. Oh I don't know!Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I don't actually believe I just did a search for this as I don't have a girlfriend/wife or children.
There doesn't seem to be

I had SPD with H (my 3rd baby) and it was awful. I had 10 weeks of being unable to walk, sleep, move, kneel, sit, anything! It was the worst 10 weeks of my life. I was induced a week early because of the pain. It was fine in labour though, it didn't really restrict me until the actual birth part when I lost use of my legs completely and they had to move me on the bed to enable me to give birth. I managed to give birth in the normal position and my legs weren't separated further than necessary to minimise the damage. The strangest thing was that after 10 weeks of agony, within an hour of birth I was sat cross legged on the bed! Had a couple of twinges since, but it just disappeared.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

hi all...........working hard on AQA........
OH is in the bedroom - he is FINALLY working on decorating it. My 2.5 years of nagging since I removed the wallpaper is FINALLY seeing some action. He's huffing and puffing through every tiny job but at least there is some progress. The days of orange painted walls are numbered.
I also got the paint I wanted for £9 instead of nearly £40 thanks to a Grabbit. Happy girl.
Just need to get my negotiating head on for when I go carpet shopping tomorrow....I'm determined to get loads knocked off!!

Two things you could do: team up with a friend or relative who wants 1 or 2 things and split the discount...mrsspendalot wrote: »Hmmmmmm can't find anything else on there to 3 for 2 it with at the moment. Or go to one of the Christmas Shopping evenings - 1000 points on your card when you spend £50 http://www.bootsxmasshoppingevenings.com/index.html
Makes it slightly more MSE... :money:0
