I prefer those candy sticks that used to look like cigarettes...and those liquorice sticks with sugar inside - yummy!

Max & Paddy have finished upstairs & did front bay window yesterday - today is kitchen & new back door....hope they leave the key so i can put the rubbish out! Am a bit worried how much PUVC is still lying up the stairs though - didn't think we had enough windows for all that!

Got an induction at the gym tonight (membership at council employee reduced rate!) - need to reduce my weight & clothes size before Christmas!

IA - hope you win your battles with Parcelforce
Snaggles - hope the bird-flu & boob get better soon

Have a good day all

    Love Floss xx

    Mmmmmmm, I love Caramacs!

Morning all, I am not very happy today, I am coming down with bird-flu (female equivalent of man-flu?), my throat is sore, my head hurts and my everything aches.

Oh and the health visitor rang and was spectacularly useless with regard to my boob problem (which is finally getting better of it's own accord thank goodness) - she suggested....gasp....more feeding to relieve the 'engorgement' (gahh, horrible word)......

In the words of the great philosopher Ryan Snaggles......'like, DUH'!!!

I'm sure you probably know this but you often get flu like symptons with mastitis (sp)
I'm just getting over a bout, it really hurts! Hope you feel better soon

Thanks alibob - sorry to hear about your mastitis...ouch! I think I've just about managed to escape without getting full on mastitis, because the blocked duct has gone, it's just left me a bit sore now.

I was getting a bit cross in the end because I said I had tried to express milk to give me a break from feeding on that side, but she wont take a bottle or cup because she's teething and anything plastic/silicone seems to really hurt her gums.....so she suggested nipple shields......

Well sorry guys I have been moaning about this all week :o, so I'm just going to shut up now... :rotfl:
