Bought a car but really don't like it

Bought a Fiat Bravo a couple of few weeks ago as I saw it at a decent price and at the same I really needed a car. I paid £2K for it but now regret it. I've drove a Corsa, fiesta and i20 in the past and the Bravo doesn't come close. The drive is ok but being tall I struggle with comfort. Fuel and interior also a big factor.
Here's the options I'm thinking of taking...
- Private selling it and hoping I get a similar price sale.
- Using this money for a deposit on a 'better' car as a deposit or using my savings and buying cash.
I have money saved up but it's whether to use most/all of it on a car.

Private or from a dealer ?0

I fear a private buyer will be put off by you selling it so quickly. They will automatically suspect a serious fault0

Surprised you didn't notice these things when you test drove it?0 -
Its an old FIAT, surely if bought from a dealer enough faults can be found to reject ?0

how tall is tall? i have the a 07 plate bravo (so expecting at £2k to be the same basic model) and have no problems, ok im not TALL as i have seriously short legs, and i mean short length trousers are still a little long, but even with that i am lik 5'10 5'11 ish so my body size would put me at about 6'2 with the correct length legs lol.
but i have absolutely no problem with getting comfy in the bravo, fuel is no problem on mine either, got the 150bhp diesel and i am not light with my right foot, but still get 50+ mpg - manually calculated - the on board mpg gauge is shockingly bad and seriously understates the actual consumption.
interior i will give you that, its certainly not the best i have come across in a car, but it does what it needs to,
done roughly 40k miles in the past 18 months and not had any unusual problems that would not be expected on any 10 year old carDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

I'm about 6'1 but personally feel quite cramped when driving. I also prefer having a foot rest next to the pedals when driving - a little thing I know but something I was always used to.
What type of driving do you use your car for? Mines a 1.9 multi jet diesel and although I can appreciate it's a powerful nippy car (6 gears) I don't think I needed that much power. At the moment I'm doing a tiny bit of motorway driving but mostly driving A roads and round town.
It's completely my fault, as I say I really needed a car at the time and having drove fairly newer cars (at the time) in the past going to this I just can't get used to it. The car would do the job for the right person, it's really not that bad - just not for me.0 -

most cars do have their quirks, like i bet the i20 was strange as dont they have the indicators on the other side?
but anyways comfort is obviously a personal thing, i find it pretty good for me, and my mum finds it comfy even though she is disabled with very bad back problems, and as i said i do crunch some miles, my main commute is pretty mixed, 20 mins motorway, 15 mins 50mph duel carriage way and 15 mins town driving. but if you cant get comfy then there is going to be very little you can do about it
also depends on which version of the multijet you have, they did 3 versions, a 1.9l 120bhp, a 1.9l 150bhp and a later 2l 160bhp, as i said i have the 150 and i do love how nippy she is when i put my foot down. but as you said if its not right for you, you only have 2 options which is put up and shut up and not be happy, or change carDrop a brand challenge
