What's the issue with private selling? I bought it for a good price. If people like the look of it they can come and view it. I'm in no rush to sell.

    Scammers, hassle, your time.

I'd keep it. You made a choice, a bad one. Drive it for a year, get your moneys worth, then sell it.

The interiors on FIATs are never the best, I just thought that was a known thing.

No. I just know how the motor trade works.

Your average franchised or specialising dealer will charge more for their particular brand than one who perhaps doesnt "value" a FIAT.

Any more info you'd like to share on the car itself? Year, model, engine type, engine size, mileage, MOT, service history....?

It might give a better indication of what your options are / how much money you will realistically recoup.

No offence mate, but if I start telling you the exact details of it; year, engine, miles, MOT, tax, whether I've coughed inside the car you'll end up making digs either way. Of course I've made a mistake and most likely to lose money.

I wouldn't even class the garage as a specialised dealer. This was the only car they had at the place and they were looking to shift is as there's literally no room. Looks more of an MOT/repairs shop to me.

No offence, pal ;) , but motorguy really knows a lot about these matters and is extremely helpful. Your call though, of course.

Thats fine pal. I'm not here to make digs, i do try to advise - as you can see by the amount of "thanks" i've got but if you dont want to tell us the detail of the car it makes no odds to me. I was just curious thats all.

And we've all been there - bought a car we didnt like and sold it on and lost money. I've stupidly in the past bought a new car and sold it after 6 months and lost £10K so i'm in no position to make digs.

Personally, i'd drive on at it rather than sell up and lose money. They're not bad cars and dont deserve the bad rep.

Apologies mate. I know you're trying to help. I posted my property listing up on here a few months ago asking for guidance on why I wasn't getting offers. I got absolutely hounded for that and effectively people were getting personal on how my flat looked and not actually helping. I swore never to do anything like that again ;)
