    Hi Guys,
Got all I need for the Wii now except chargers.
From reading the posts on here I take it that a separate battery charger is better than the Wii charger?

Don't buy older NiMH batteries they're not a patch on the new ones which you can find out about here

    http://www.eneloop.info/

Sanyo Eneloop also have direct equivalents under these brands Uniross Hybrio & GP Recyko
  • thanks for starting this thread.... now we've finally got one it will be nice to get games & accessories that aren't going to cost a fortune

    THANKS

    I got really confussed too.

I was told in a wii box you get a controller and a nunchuck.
To get an extra controller I believe the best deal is to try and get wii play as it has a controller and game. I also bought an extra nunchuck from Argos.

I think I have covered all angles now but I am still in the dark!

    How did you pay?
I paid by paypal and it was shipped the next day.
    :D

I paid by paypal as well. Have just had a ticket I opened answered by them informing me that I will not be getting this by Christmas. Have asked them to cancel and refund my paypal. Luckily managed to get a Play from game delivered and a nunchuck from elsewhere.

As I understand it, and i'm no expert!!

The nunchuck is the left/ right hand (depending on if you are left or right handed and in which hand you hold the controller) when playing games that require both hands, boxing as an example, in order to simulate boxing you need to use both hands.

If you want to have two people playing at the same time, IE 2 players boxing each other, you will need both an extra controller and an extra nanchunk.

    Chargers
The Wii, depending obviously on how much its used, can apparently be a bit heavy on the batteries so a good long term investment may be a battery charger available for around £6 from most places.

I would recommend a seperate charger as batteries can be charging whilst people are playing etc.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
