7dayshop are selling Toshiba 2GB SD Cards for £6.99.

Delivery is £3.95 but that's a one off 'order' charge so you can get as many as you want delivered for that. I've ordered 3 (1 Wii, 1 Camera, 1 TomTom) and a microSD for my phone. Very good value.

You don't need an SD card for the Wii, it works quite happily without one. It's only required if you want to backup Save games, Channels or Virtual console games and maybe to view photos. There's ample memory in the Wii to keep you going for a while at least.

A couple of games, Excite Truck and Endless Ocean also allow you to play your own MP3s within the game for which an SD card is required.
