I have just cancelled the order and asked them to refund.
As I said, I'd stick to shopping in physical shops if you find waiting in for deliveries stressful. You can buy organic cider vinegar in your local supermarket.
  • This is because Amazon never use royal mail anymore, the most reliable postal/parcel delivery in the land... Cue lots of replies saying royal mail are poop, but nonetheless they are definite best if a bad bunch, amazon are the worst, moral of the story is, cancel you amazon prime account, and buy from a store where they use royal mail :D

I’ve used Amazon for years, and even though they now use Hermes, I’ve never had a single problem with deliveries - they always turn up when they say they will.

(Unlike M&S deliveries now, which still use Royal Mail.....:wall:)

Any faulty goods from Amazon have been replaced or refunded without an argument.

    Love the site...

Not my experience at all, and I'm a prolific Amazon shopper. I'm only disappointed that a tiny percentage of my orders are shipped via RM as they unfailingly dont deliver within the time frame which gives rise to a free month of Prime membership. Amazon Logistics however very rarely fail to deliver - I can't even remember the last time they screwed up and I place several orders per week. It's obviously not as clearcut as RM good/ AL bad, or vice versa, but is dependent on the quality of the service in your area.

Our Amazon orders come by Royal Mail and are always delivered promptly.

If ordered on Prime they arrive the day after posting which is often the day after ordering.

Given the timeline I doubt moby has Prime.

I don't have a gripe with any delivery service. When problems happen they're generally sorted quickly if you remain polite.

It is true that as you get older you over analyse and stress about the smallest of things, I've seen it happen with my parents.

Yes and no just look at the forum many many users get stressed out for no reason at all and or want blame heaped upon somebody for the most trivial things .

I recently ordered a case of organic cider vinegar from Amazon and was given a delivery date 4th to 6th October. This came and went with no sign of my order. I then received another notification to the effect that delivery had been updated 9th to 11th October. It is now 6 pm on the 11th and still no sign of the package. This really is frustrating, as I have been virtually tied to the house expecting delivery. I stopped buying from Amazon a couple of years ago because of poor delivery times, but thought they might now have improved. Not so. Worse than ever. An absolute nightmare. I have definitely finished with the company, now. Totally incompetent. My advice is steer clear.
