Yes people are talking about membership 'fee's' today as being a brexit dividend. Yesterday they weren't.

i.e. the tune has changed because the government spin department have chosen to redefine 'brexit dividend'. It's their prerogative of course because it's a meaningless soundbite.

I can see no reason why you'd interpret my comments as 'having a pop'.

Yesterday, and for two years, people have been talking about membership fees.

Hence all the ridicule of the bus and the figures, it was stated by the leave campaign, that could be put towards the NHS...

...which is what happened, in a roundabout way.

I guess I just don't get your point. You are suggesting people have changed their tune, because they are talking about a new development in what brexit means. Just because someone talks about a new development, doesn't mean their thoughts have changed on anything they previously said?

The savings from not contributing are absolutely insignificant, and very likely to be wiped out by the economic damage of leaving. Reports claim Brexit is already costing us about double the savings.

Some reports are claiming that it's costing us five times the savings.

I know this because I just went outside and shouted at the bins that the Brexit dividend would cost us five times more than it saved, and in the absence of any real evidence, my report is as worthy of quotation / uncited vague allusion as anybody else's.

There were absolutely NO FINANCIAL benefits of Brexit. The net payments Britain will slowly stop paying over the next few years are being eaten up with all the additional costs. Plus Brexiters have told us in these threads that it will take a few years to see any financial benefits. 16 million people actually thought there would be no financial benefits.
Even a false Brexit has no financial benefits.
But, yes yes Britain has taken back control. This can be seen every day that parliament sits.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

I think that post Brexit the UK government will be forced into spending more of their limited budget in the regions they have neglected for so long.

So yes, it can be a financial benefit, it just depends who and where you are.

Still a benefit to the UK. I'm gobsmacked at some of the roads I've driven in Spain. Huge waste of taxpayers money. Some are built up in the mountains in the north. Elevated sections for miles. You can see what appears to be the road in the distance. Then suddenly you are taken off and find yourself back on the twisty narrow old roads again in the middle of nowhere. No economic benefit to anyone.

Could you list the additional costs please?

Proper costs that is. Not your assumption. Not "what might be". Not "could be". Actual known costs.

It isn't about Gallileo thrug. It's about Russian involvement in Brexit and Andy Wigmore's appearance before the DCMS. The rest is window dressing.

Perhaps you’d like to answer the questions I asked you (on Sunday 17 June at 21:40) about quantifying your claim that there would be a “brexit dividend” before you start demanding information from other people...

I suspect we’ll be a long time waiting... (because there is no brexit dividend :))
