Have they. I think many will disagree. The gulf has widened between the haves and have nots. That's indisputable. Hence why there's no discontent with politics in general. From the UK, to the US to Italy. There's enormous resentment. History in part seems to be repeating itself.0 -

Resorting to trolling again. How unexpected.0 -

More to do with an extended period of European peace.
I don't think you can attribute the changes to the fact they we were in EU.0 -
When Scotland, narrowly, voted to remain part of the UK, they didn’t realise that they were about to be dragged out of the EU by a xenophobic Tory government and its supporters.
They were told the opposite by "better together" in that the only way to stay in the eu was to stay in the .uk. !!!314;0 -

As I said they were improving before we joined EU and to say the improvements since are due to joining EU is not corrrect.0 -
On a strictly economic basis the UK economy improved with the arrival of Thatcher. Maybe globalisation had a bigger effect than EU-isation?0

Gibraltar will be subject to a power sharing agreement of some sort within the next 5 years because the UK will have no other choice other than to offer one.
Brexiters understanding of Northern Ireland is deficient, to be kind.
You ignore of course the losses the SNP had in the last GE to Unionist parties and the fact that Gibraltarians would fight to the death to avoid a power sharing deal with the hated Spaniards. The U.K. will not sell Gibraltar down the river in the Brexit negotiations.
It would be a mistake also to think that a majority vote for Remain in NI is tacit approval by that same majority for an all Ireland customs union and a possible sea border with the rest of the U.K.
You hoping stuff will happen in order to suit your narrative that the country is in chaos, doesn’t mean it will happen.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Cable speaks as he finds:Too many older people who voted for Brexit were "driven by nostalgia" for a world where "faces were white," Sir Vince Cable has said.
The Lib Dem leader said the votes of the older generation had "crushed the hopes and aspirations of young people for years to come."
Speaking at his party's spring conference, he said the government's Brexit policy was a "fraud".
You mean Brexit might be a bit, racist?
