    Is it?

The vast majority of those who never experienced life before the EU voted remain.

Those of us who did overwhelmingly voted to leave.

    How curious.

The world has moved on a lot in those 45 years. Many of the industries from the 70's are gone, the world is a smaller place, and environmental and safety standards are vastly improved.

I wasn't born then so I have no direct experience, but I'm pretty confident we have it better today within the eu.

How can you be confident of "something" you've never experienced.

My late Grandmother (who died in 1997) went to work at 13 in a laundry. Was one of 19 children. Lived in a 2 roomed rental. Saw the invention of the airplane, car, telephone, computer, tank, votes for women etc etc in her lifetime. Nothing new in further technological advance and quality of life.

Support the European citizens' initiative and complete this form to register your support for retaining EU citizenship post Brexit.

Ideally there would be some mechanism for Brexit voters to be excluded if it goes through...

Maybe you and the EU would like us Leave voters to wear an emblem on our coats/jackets to make us easily spotted at the ports, train stations and airports.............. What would you like? Maybe a star ?.

Yes that would be acceptable to the EU , all us Brexiteers to wear a star on our clothes so we can be easily singled out from the rest...

Did you start work at 13 and rented a 2 bed between 20?

Reading, experience and analysis. I'm pretty sure we had a better quality of life in 1973 than 1873 for instance. Or that I wouldn't fare well in a fight with a bear.

If you want to leave the eu why would you want citizenship? Hypocrisy?

Presumably you'll be easy to spot at ports since you'll be the ones not embarrassed by the blue passports.

Yes, although not a full time job.
Yes, from the age of 19 until 24, mainly one bed

Life was very different just a 100 years ago. My great grandfather was a docker in Limehouse. Paid when there was work. No work no pay. No state benefits in those days.

Wasn't the EU that bettered and improved peoples lives. But people doing it for themselves. Something which sadly has been lost in the past few decades.
