If Brexit is bad for British business, global dealmakers aren’t paying attention. The U.K. is still their favorite place in Europe to invest, according to a survey by Ernst & Young LLP.

MANY EU member states will NOT have enough customs staff to cope with a hard Brexit for at least A YEAR after we leave the bloc, it has been revealed. The three-year training for customs officers in Germany means even if they recruited now, staff levels wouldn’t be ready until 2020.
France’s two year training programme means candidates applying for next year’s round of training would also not be work-ready before 2020.
And although basic customs training in Sweden lasts only a year, officials confirmed that they have not yet planned to increase recruitment because of Brexit.
Belgium and the Netherlands have a less stringent training program but a recent KPMG report said the Netherlands would need to start immediate recruitment to be ready.

I can imagine the conversation. Clegg - listen Barnier, I lied for you a lot. 3 million jobs would go if we leave, no European army ever. My gravy boat is empty and I am a laughing stock in the UK. I need a job.0
