  • But the remainers must try their lies.
And they are lies, pure and simple.
    75,000 we were told.
75,000 jobs in banking will go due to Brexit.
    The reality:
Under 5,000 according to the FT.

    Seems to be paywalled.

It will if we still have to be subject to 4 freedoms and ECJ, I can see that even though I voted remain but then I have accepted result and am not paying it lip service.
I accept the result too. The result being that we need to leave the EU.

    Not for me. From it:
The UK’s biggest international banks are set to move fewer than 4,600 jobs from London in preparation for Brexit — just 6 per cent of their total workforce in the financial centre — according to Financial Times research.

The FT analysis contrasts with consultants’ original claims that tens of thousands of jobs could move from London after Brexit.
  • You may as well tell us the headline you read on a paper you saw (but didn't buy) when you paid for petrol.
    Hey, I can read it.
If you really don't want to spend a quid to expand your knowledge I for one will understand. ;)

Try this one, you don't have to pay.
"UK GDP growth to accelerate on back of stronger services sector"
The findings of surveys by the Bank of England, the Confederation of British Industry, and other organisations show the UK can expected an annual rate of GDP growth of around two per cent in the first quarter of the year, according to analysis by accountancy firm BDO to be published today.

It has the usual "but" references in there too of course but more good news nonetheless.
  • And prior to that?

And people like to know where what they are eating is made. YOU might not but I do, for one.

I usually get something with a bit more cocoa content than Cadbury Dairy Milk. It's a matter of taste I guess.
  • It looks like Irish farming is already suffering at the hands of Brexit - and this before any conclusion!
Almost 6000 jobs have been lost in the agri-food sector since the Brexit vote in June 2016, according to Food Drink Ireland.

The IBEC group representing the food and drink industry says exports to the UK have fallen by €570m since then.

It comes as a new report warns that Brexit could cause as much damage as the economic crash.

The Irish needn't worry though because the EU will help them.
After all that's what a union does, isn't it?

Oh let's be honest here, the stuff isn't allowed to be called chocolate in lots of places because of the lack of cocoa butter. Even within the EU they don't like it being called chocolate.

Not sure what your point was though, if there actually was one.

    There's no distinction, is there?
You are either in the EU or you aren't.
Norway for example is not in the EU.
Therefore the Norway option would address the referendum result.
Yes I know, a Norway option wouldn't address the fears and phobias of many brextremists, but that's not really here nor there and a totally different discussion.
