In Poland they are worried that the supply of Ukrainian migrants might dry up thanks to EU travel restrictions being eased - and that this will harm their just-recovering economy.
With the EU easing travel restrictions for Ukrainians, Warsaw is worried fewer of its eastern neighbors will come to Poland for work. Cheap Ukrainian labor has helped contain inflation and boost growth.

Forests, migrants, judiciary and now workers; how much longer will Poles be accepting of the scale of EU oversight if it's going to damage their economy?

We should put division behind us.
Brexiters and Remainers should unite behind the BRINO we all know is coming. :)
Agreed, division should indeed be put behind us.
But a Brino that"we all know is coming"?
    Uh-uh.
    :naughty:
Unless you're from the future there is no way that you know what is coming - and more-so when it comes to anything Brexit related. ;)

Brino? :D Unless you mean this?

At least it fits with your "We should put division behind us" comment. :rotfl:

Is this the start down a slippery slope for German politics - before a coalition has even been formed?

Coalitions are part and parcel of German politics. Rather like trying to understand Trump. First you need to understand how the people on the ground think and why. Not apply a UK based view.

I was in Gdansk and Warsaw earlier this month and heard several complaints about Ukrainians working there. Ironic considering that getting on for 1m Poles left to work in other EU countries and Ukrainians stepped in to fill the void.

From what I could see, including the number of active cranes on the skyline, the Polish economy is doing very nicely.

Our UN & future WTO membership will prevent us having full control over our laws.

Do you want to go full North Korea?

If we want to do trade with the EU then they'll expect us not to repeal the working time directive and also not dump waste in our rivers and on beaches etc.

It must really suck to be a leaver.

There is no way our legal system will bow to all this popularist rubbish. The government have recently been found guilty of breaking the law when introducing PIP changes for instance.
But the EU is not "united on Brexit", is it?
    Very obviously.
Oh the senior Eurocrats might say they are - but what choice do they really have if they do not want the wrath of others to befall them?
MEP's may say they are too - for certain things at least and again because of either coercion or fear?

You're describing the "United" Kingdom & pretty much all politics. It will be a miracle if you find two politicians who believe exactly the same thing on one issue. It's true that they don't have any choice to be united, but I don't think their positions are wildly different.

Certainly none of them think we should get the kind of deal that every leaver thinks we'll definitely get.

The Telegraph claim British manufacturing stumbled into 2018. Treason.

This’ll be the Brexit “disaster” that our Luxembourger friend was on about a few pages earlier. :)
It’s good however that Remainers have moved on from the the emergency budget and 500K job losses. They’ve gone quiet about the dollar/sterling exchange rate, why is that I wonder?

Over the last 10 years this PMI for the UK has been as low as 35 and averaging around 53. So the above looks like a bit of a straw-grasp if it were meant to support any remainer argument.
  • Leavers seem to have gone quiet about UK PMI vs European PMI and about how our growth stacks up against the rest of the G7. C'est la vie.
    No.
TBH and speaking from my own POV leavers have gone quiet because the amount of inconsequential drivel being spouted by remainers keeps us laughing so much it's difficult to type replies!
    :D

It's patently obvious that all some remainers are trying to do is shake the tree to see what falls out.
    ;)
