This shows up on a lot of Shouty McRedface UKIP blogs, and the Express, but I can't find it in a proper news source.

The closest I can find on one Shoutface blog, crammed in among Caravan adverts, promotions for driving gloves, and Madeleine McCann thumbnails, is that it's an order for 4 years worth of champagne at 1000 bottles a year.

An organisation the size of the EU that, whether UKIP likes it or not, will have to offer the same amount of hospitality as any other parliament.

    Like Westminster under the Tories.

By 2013, the Tories were helping themselves to a 72% rise of the bubbly stuff to order over EIGHT THOUSAND BOTTLES.

So the EU, planning for 1000 a year, hedging them in advance, and putting the order out to tender for the lowest price, actually seems pretty reasonable.

But then that doesn't get clicks from Shouties, does it?

In the voting booth, Shaw finally made her choice: she voted leave. “To be quite frank, I did not believe it would happen,” she says. “I thought I’d put in a protest vote. The impact of my stupidity!”

    Yes. Quite.

A good thing about the referendum result is it finished UKIP.

As long as we actually Brexit and don't end up chained to the corpse of the EU via the single market, customs union and ECJ. If we do, UKIP will be far from finished.

    Very sad if true.

The UK Home Office has not sought any advice from experts on the potential impact of Brexit on the Irish border or Irish citizens living in Britain or Northern Ireland.

The Home Office, whose responsibilities include immigration and security, has also not spoken to any experts about how the UK’s departure from the European Union might affect immigration controls at the Irish border.

The Home Office’s admission – made in response to a Freedom of Information request lodged by the Ferret – has been described as “shocking” by experts on both sides of the Irish border.
    End quote.

It would appear to be true. Rather shows the London centric Government are rather dismissive of Norther Ireland
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

I guess if you never ask experts you can never have confirmation of how wrong you are.

The UK Government are manfully trying to expedite the decision of the British people to leave the EU. Despite numerous declarations that the UK is happy keep the status quo re. our longstanding special relationship with the Irish people, it is Ireland's cherished membership of the EU that is causing the problems. I personally have no sympathy for Irish passport holders from Ulster that have have made the political choice to reject a UK passport while living in the United Kingdom.

The original source is probably Mr V. Putin, Russia.

But luckily no one here falls for that nonsensical cack.

If we leave the EU (which we will) then everything else is party politics. If you aren't very happy about the indignity of floating on an island that's still only 20 odd miles from Europe what exactly are you going to do about it?

Vote UKIP? 5,000,000 votes and two parliamentary seats. Go for it.

Corbyn is crossing his fingers that cutting off your nose to spite your face is becoming a habit.

Would you post that again please. In English this time.

This blog reveals that David Davis has ignored calls to meet from representatives of the 1.2 million Brits living in the EU27. I know this to be true as the organiser of BRILL told me so.

    http://www.politics.co.uk/blogs/2017/11/24/david-davis-refused-to-meet-brits-in-europe-countless-times

No wonder we Brits living outside Britain feel let down by the British Government.

Unpleasant comments from quittlings are expected in the next few posts!
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
