It's more likely that some employees would love to work somewhere where they can nip out for a coffee and cake.0 -

...a clutch of proprietary financial trading firms and platforms, including some of the high-frequency algorhithmic [sic] traders made famous by Michael Lewis’s 2014 book Flash Boys, all worried – like the banks – about losing EU passporting rights, and attracted by a comparatively friendly regulator.
They can say that again - AFM are so completely ineffective and invisible it's as though there's no regulation at all.
It's only mugs like the UK who harass our financial industry with costly, burdensome and (as 2008 showed) completely ineffective regulation.0 -
Well done, Amsterdam! :TThe city has, nonetheless, seen a marked uptick in interest since the referendum both from British and foreign companies in the UK, and – noticeably – from non-European companies looking to set up a European bridgehead that have ruled out London.
Makes sense.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

I wouldn't imagine that a move to Ljubljana or Riga would be high on employees wish list. Ultimately the EU members will fight over every crumb. As National interest comes first. Above any desire to spread the econmic benefit fairly.0 -
But to under 35s, national interest has become entwined with Europe. Guess that's why it's become an inter-generational war.Advent Challenge: Money made: £0. Days to Christmas: 59.0

Even back in 2015 UKIP suggested thatYoung people should not be allowed to vote in any future referendum on the EU because they are brainwashed in schools with pro-EU propaganda
Besides UKIP there is quite a lot more out there about how the EU have been "educating" our young. A quick web search turns up lots of results.0 -

You've made my day. I got an E in Business Studies.
Yet I seemed to pick up I should vote leave.
That's some strong persuasion techniques there.

It's only a couple of months since Juncker was banging on about the EU being a union of equals. Equal, it seems, except when they have the opportunity to hand out a few goodies. Slovakia has gone every inch to be good Europeans but when it comes to getting a small agency, they are snubbed.
It's a lovely little city and commutable from Vienna so there's no reason for employees not to want to work there.
As for Ljubljana, that too is a great city in a beautiful country. Nothing to dislike. I wouldn't fancy Riga in the winter though.0 -

What a ludicrous comment that is from UKIP. How can you refuse people the democratic right to vote just because you don't like what they learn at school?
Enter into debate by all means, come up with counter arguments, but don't ban people. This is the UK not North Korea (where in other news this week the little rotund despot has banned Mothers Day as only he should be worshipped). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
