I agree but as you can see some remainers like to pretend that never happen, its good to keep the debate honest;)"I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -

This "a vote to leave will result in...." phrase has led to some confusion yes.
Poor choice of words from the remoaner who launched it.
Poor form from the brextremists to pretend it meant anything else but "leaving the EU will result in...."
The effects of leaving the EU will only be fully known if and when we actually leave the EU. It's not rocket science eh Matt?Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

Not about what happened up to six months ago?
Those days have gone. The Confederation of British Industry’s industrial order book balance surged in November to +17 from -2 in October, marking its highest level since August 1988. A Reuters poll of economists had pointed to a reading of +3.
You do also know that 3 months growth at some time in the past does not necessarily equate to a trend - which has been that exports to the EU have been decreasing over the course of the last decade.

You do realise you posted one months' figures only a few posts ago, do you? :rotfl:Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
And in other news. Conservative MPs have just been proved to be incapable of feeling pain or emotion.

I see that you too have noted how when the statistics prove the pro-EU lies wrong that some still absolutely must decry the country they choose to live in. What a shame it is that some people hate our country so much they would rather gloat when news is negative.
Talking of which . . . .mayonnaise wrote: »You do realise you posted one months' figures only a few posts ago, do you? :rotfl:
Yet again, just for you the relevant part was as I wrote just a few posts ago in this very thread:
"exports to the EU have been decreasing over the course of the last decade."0 -
£40bn to leave then. I have a feeling it will be more.
I make that 16 years of EU contributions. Bit of a long con this one.
After 16 years do we start sending money to the NHS instead? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

It would have been relevant if discussing the ratio of the UK's trade with the EU and RoW to 2016.
It was irrelevant as evidence to determine where these increased manufacturing orders forecast by the CBI would eventually be consumed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Add that to the following about the UK deficit and despite the doom-laden fearmongering we see far too much of the UK seems to be on course for continued steady growth.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

As the saying goes, "one swallow doesn't make a summer", tracey.
The up-tick in manufacturing only confirms that, or do you not understand the definition of "continued".
So it continues to prove that a decade is in fact quite a few summers.
Now if the thread equivalents of Pinky and Perky will excuse me I have children to see to, which I think most would agree is more worthwhile compared to their continued yet fortunately often failed attempts at being keyboard warriors.0
