Brexit, the economy and house prices part 5

No it's not.
The Brexit ref was super hyped. If nothing changes, and we end up paying more for the privilege, expect the radicals to paint it as a sell out.
Whether people can be bothered to express their dissatisfaction through the ballot box, now that's a different matter. It doesn't mean to say they are happy.
The radicals will paint anything except WTO as a sell out. But we can't allow a few nutjobs to dictate the majority. What do people actually want?0 -

I just came back from Stansted btw, crowds of us wanted to see the huge military assets such as the Osprey's and motorcades. Plenty of women amongst us. All the police there standing with us were filming the event, very excited Trump was in town, no one bad mouthing him, this is the real Britain, ordinary confident people, far from the miserly dining tables of the frothing liberals
When Britain did that it was called gun boat diplomacy. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Trump has insulted our Democratically elected prime minister and suggested that Johnson would make a great replacement. I don’t see much to cheer about.
Trump won’t give a stuff about that, he talks directly to electorates, it’s what populists do.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
.....Or is the new reality of us as a supplicant turning a deaf year to the insults pleading at the table for the favours of the biggest bully on the block going to continue. The Germans and French will be noting what we are becoming.
I think the French and Germans Governments will be more concerned with the populist wave that is currently engulfing mainland Europe.
The ‘big two’s’ European supranational dream is dying on its backside in front of them. Liberal western governments stopped listening to its people and not surprisingly the people acted.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Whereas Obama insulted the British electorate
He gave an opinion on Brexit. It was likely written by Cameron but that’s not the point. He didn’t suggest to the electorate that the leader wasn’t up to the job and that he had someone in mind who would be better.
Fiddling in foreign affairs is not welcomed by Brexiteers unless, of course, it’s Trump agreeing with them or Farage in America.0 -

Is that an objective analysis or what you are hoping for? This is the first time in my life that 'liberalism has become a dirty word......such sad times!0
