Veiled threats of a bunch of right wing old farts taking to the streets scares nobody.
Let’s keep it civil, shall we?
Nobody has to take to the streets, a significant number of the 17.4m not voting for the two main parties is enough to end them both as parties of power. In the future peope will vote for parties who are clearly pro or anti EU, it’s an indicator of the divided state of the country, that both Tories and Labour are trying to appeal to both sets of viewpoints and thus far failing.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Is anyone following the events around Belfast at the moment? And seriously thinking that there will be no increase in trouble with a border?0

Difficult, as that also can give up information about customers. One thing that does come to mind is a requirement to use a specific set of materials only available from one obscure (and expensive) EU producer in order to qualify a new product for sale. This material not relevant to the use of the product, or its performance, but effectively creating a closed shop against any other company trying to enter that specific market.
What did your local MEP and your MP have to say about all these restrictions that were holding you back. If they were very important you must have spent a lot of time putting your case. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

With time Europe policies will just become another part of a manifesto. The last GE wasn't a proxy referendum so I doubt that'll be the case in the future either.
I think the first break point will be when we actually leave the EU next year and there's a world record for the most people releasing a sigh of relief. It's much easier to think about the long term if you don't have to worry about getting the shaft in the short term.
Perhaps it wasn't, but Labour Didn't reveal their true feeling about Leaving EU for fear it would cost them a lot of votes rightly so.0 -

I believe they did try and count the number of MPs supporting a Remain position, but unfortunately gave the counting job to Diane Abbot!
I think she said it was about....Andwew...about 3; or maybe 30; certainly no higher than 300,000..Andwew.

Cameron's witnessing UKIP's 4 million voters in 2015 was all it took to bring on the referendum.
A Brino will see millions of Labour, Tory & Kipper coming together as one in one form or another, akin to the populist movements surging through Europe casting dreary, arrogant establishment Centrists aside.
Your complacency is precisely the same causing European centrists having their @a%ses handed to them. Even Sweden's UKIP is now a potent political force.Restless, somebody pour me a vino.0 -
