Sounds complicated playing around with YNAB - I’ve been doing similar and adding out loans as lines of credit so that payments made to them reduce the balance. I hate seeing my net worth every time I log in but it’s nearly 100% accurate now so it will track it each month. Cannot wait to see the cards coming down.
You’re doing so great making the pads - I still cannot get myself into that habit.0 -
Morning,
DH sold his old mobile last night for £110. I've paid £50 of it to CC3 today. Listed a couple more bits on gumtree last night too. Really need to make space in the living room for the Christmas tree and have a general moving of clutter before Christmas. Might have to resort to relocating our stuff for sale to our summer house (hopefully it won't get too cold in there over winter and make the stuff damp). Will most probably move some of the DCs toys too, so I can rotate them a bit easier.
I am absolutely full of cold today. It has come on so quickly, which is incredibly annoying. Ive also almost lost my voice, which my DC think is brilliant!! Going to start making smoothies each morning to try and get shot of it quicker. On the plus side my bad back has finally stopped hurting - hurrah!LBM Aug 2017.

I think I got your original intention re paying off your DHs course CCs over your personal ones as the deals finish earlier. As one is only two months away though it sounds like that is an impossible ask. If you continue to make the same payments to yours will you get them paid off within the deal period? The balances are quite high so although October 2020 sounds a long way away I am not sure it will be cleared by then so you may have to balance transfer those too. I think I would continue to focus on your personal ones and leave the course ones aside. Has the outlay on the courses been worth it?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. To pay them off by October 2020 I'd need to pay an extra £70 a month on top of my current monthly amount from January. I'm hopeful that we should be able to clear it either on time or earlier, as we've managed to pay about £14k off this year, so a fair few additional payments. DH is planning on using his new course in the new year. He's stayed at his current contract for longer than he originally planned as they put the hourly rate up. In the long term it will provide a lot more work opportunities to DH, although it will most probably mean us having to relocate in the future.LBM Aug 2017.

If you have managed to pay £14k off this year that is good. Adding your DHs business cards and your CC3 and CC4 together that is less than £28k in total so keeping up same level of repayment would mean 2 years to clear it all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I'm hoping we'll be completely DF by Dec 2020 (inc DH's Course Cc). Obviously my mini challenge will be to try and do it sooner! Cannot wait for the day when the final bit is paid and all spare money will be ours.
Today the top cashback money has cleared my account, so I've transferred £100 to CC3. Had someone enquire about an item of furniture we're selling, so hopefully it might sell in the next day or two. Not going to get much money for it, but everything helps.
Total paid off our personal debt this year is £14,030.60 . I am both horrified and incredibly proud of that figure!!LBM Aug 2017.
