Poor DC2, hope she's improving.
Thanks Jwil. She's feeling better. Still eating more mushy food, but is at least eating and drinking. Still not sure whether to take her to the dentist to have it taken out ASAP (as suggested by hospital), as i really don't want to make her scared of the dentist. She's already scared of her teeth coming out, so don't want to make matters worse. I guess at the moment, seeing as she's eating and drinking we'll just carry on until things change or the tooth falls out!
Today I am absolutely shattered. I have officially had enough of the hot weather now. It was 29 degrees upstairs in our house last night. All 3 DCs slept terribly (and all woke at different times!) so I'm really tired today. DC1 didn't fall asleep until 10.30  and was up at 6!!
Yesterday I sent £3 to cc3 and 60p to debt savings. Today I've transferred £127 to CC3. My dd payment for the Halifax card (CC3) hasn't come out, which I'm presuming is because I've made additional payments? I'm hoping this is the case as the payment today takes into account the usual dd amount.
I'm off to my mums today to continue the sort through of my things to sell. Really hoping to get a few bundles of clothes listed in a few places today. I haven't had any bids on any of my eBay items yet, but I do have 15 watchers on one item, so I'm hoping this one sells on Thursday. Really keen to declutter and see how much cash I can make from it all.LBM Aug 2017.

You are doing brilliantly both with the EF and debt. I think you are right about the Wales contract. There is no benefit financially in fact it would be to your detriment and whilst it might be something to consider for the future when your debt is lower or gone it might not be best now. Can your DH go on his own and you and DC join him for a week each month as a compromise and Just muddle through on accommodation? My DH worked for 5 months down here in West Country while I stayed in London with my baby and toddler 30 years ago while our house sale went through. It was tough but I managed and we met up weekends either by him coming home or us driving down to Cornwall and staying in travel lodges. He had no choice though as eventually we moved down here.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Thanks ES. DH has been working in London for the last 3 weeks and may possibly be working there until September. Hopefully he will be told soon about where he'll be working, as the lack of information from the place he's working is really frustrating. It's hard work being on my own with the DC, but the money is better than he was getting and better than it would have been in Wales, so definitely is for the greater good. So far he's worked the equivalent of an additional 3 days work, so hopefully we may be able to increase the EF again soon.LBM Aug 2017.

In other news DC2's wobbly tooth fell out today. I'm soooo relieved that I didn't have to take her to the dentist to have it removed. It was pretty comical when it happened... DC2 having been running round the garden "Mummy my tooth feels weird". DC2 opens mouth. Me "Ooh your tooth has fallen out!". She had no idea it had come out! :rotfl: Had to hunt round the garden for the missing tooth and luckily we managed to spot it, so it's been cleaned and put in the tooth fairy bag ready to be collected. :j
In bad news today one of the slats on DC1s bed was broken , so I've got to organise a replacement. Here's hoping it's not too difficult or expensive, as I'd like to get it sorted before DH comes home!LBM Aug 2017.

The tooth fairy was a bit late this morning . DC2 was really upset that the tooth fairy hadn't been when she got up at 6.30, but luckily when she went back upstairs and got dressed at 7 the tooth fairy had been! Told DC2 it was because she obviously got up too early and the tooth fairy was running a bit late!
Managed to complete both mine and DH's tax returns today. Really pleased to have them out of the way. I'm due a tax refund of just over £200 :T and as long as DH doesn't have to still make his balancing payment (it's still showing as needing to be paid on the hmrc website) then he should also be getting a refund. Will have another look tomorrow to see if the website has been updated. Really hoping I've read it right as it said he had overpaid by £800!! Also I had money set aside for tax payments, so have transferred £145 of it to the EF
. EF balance now £1,645
.
Transferred £10 to CC3 today, so the balance is coming down, although fairly slowly. DH thinks we should concentrate on paying off the CCs we got when he did his course earlier this year, as their 0% ends sooner. I completely get the reasoning for it, but I haven't included any of those debts in my list, as they are technically business debts. I'm a bit miffed if I have to slow down the repayment of my CCs listed and tackle them. Mainly because I'm looking at these debts daily and although I do keep an eye on the business debts and pay them I have separated them in my head (if that makes sense!!). I know I could add them to my totals here, but it really would be far far too depressing!!LBM Aug 2017.

Thanks Abba. I was mortified when she said they hadn't been.
.
I've been fairly productive already this morning. DC3 woke up at 5 and then fell back to sleep at 5.30. I tried to fall back to sleep, but gave up at 6. I managed to get 5 hours sleep in one stint last night, so I feel pretty amazing today. If you'd told me pre children that I'd survive on so little sleep I wouldn't have believed you! Unloaded the dishwasher and restacked it, then bleached the downstairs cloakroom. Walked in the living room and found loads of ants on the carpet  So have spent the last half hour hoovering them all up . There are some coming in through our French door seal, but the ones I hoovered up were the other end of the room so no idea where they came in from
. We've only just managed to stop them coming in the kitchen (managed to block the holes they were coming in through). I've never known a village to have such a problem with ants. They make me feel ill just thinking about it .
Anyway, I've just finished checking the bank accounts and updating ynab, so have sent £10 to CC3 and 79p to debt savings.
Now off to sort the DCs breakfast and will catch up on diaries after.LBM Aug 2017.
