Get well soon PBS xx
Drum roll: I took the toys to the charity shop! *glow* they've been sat in my dining room most of the summer gathering dust, no interest in attempted sales. Now they are gone. Lady in the shop was very pleased to have them, they had a recent break-in. I stayed a while for a chat, I don't know her but she seemed quite shaken about it still so I figured a friendly ear wouldn't go unnoticed.
Also purchased some Halloween sweeties while I was there
Today, I need to clean the main bathroom (did my little one last night), clean out the furries cage, chop some veg and leave instructions for feeding children and animals at the weekend. May even pop out and buy a cooked chicken and some steam-veg to make mums life easier since she'll be looking after 3 + 2 this weekend!
Also need to pack my overnight bag, don't need much, we're not going anywhere fancy...
Hugs all round and positive weekend wishes xxxBossymoo

Hey all, starting to feel a little better today. Didn't wake up at 3am again so that helped. Little bit of a headache and stuffy nose still, but throat is a lot better.
All bodes well for my half marathon on sunday. Unfortunately bf is starting to feel ill.
I'm going to stick to the basics again today, don't want to push myself too hard.
We could do with putting a sports wash on (they do better without fabric softener) as bf wants to wear his new 10k tee-shirt we got for the race last sunday. Apart from that its just dishes, I'll put the DW after lunch.
I'm off to the theatre tonight to watch a Japanese production of Macbeth. My all time favourite play, should be good!

I've got another filthy rotten cold.:( And Mr LW helped me wash my hair this morning, and a huge great handful of it fell out. *cries* I really am so sick and tired of the carp this lupus throws at me.
Sorry for the whinge; I don't have anyone else I can tell.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hi all
Dad taken to his hospital appointment grumpy and irritable (perhaps understandably) so I forced myself into jolly cheery mode and let it all wash over me.
Some paid stuff, some laundry sorted, everyone fed with DHs help, kitchen cleaned - although floor needs doing. DH seems to be coming down with DS2s bug.
I have to make decisions soon about work. As you know I am currently juggling two jobs. There is a possibility that I could re-train and take qualifications so that I could apply for a promotion in job no. 1 but I would have to keep both pt jobs in the meantime. This might be doable if I could get some help at home with the cooking, cleaning, laundry etc but I just cant see that happening. Or it may happen until the novelty wears off.
I want to do this - and of course it would benefit the family because I would be bringing in more money but its seems stupid to take on even more on. Just dont know.
Anyway, hope you are OK LW, it is a hideous condition.
Thank goodness its the weekend.0 -

You could stop cooking for them or doing their washing. I'd say still clean up as it's horrible living in a midden, but all it would take is a few occasions where they can't find anything to wear because it's all been scooped off the bathroom floor and dumped on their beds unwashed and a few times where they ask what's for tea and you reply 'dunno. What are you making?' and they'll begin to get the hang of it.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
