My switch has also worked without probs. SOs created to pay in and out £1000. Just waiting for £250 bonus now.

    Very easy for £250.

My switch has happened now, my card was declined at the petrol station hehe so logged on and it had gone through. I'm really impressed with these guys so far!! So as long as I pay in £1000 within 31 days of today I'll receive my bonus? And lots of DDs have been transferred across from my old account so I'm ok on that score too I guess.

    Don't forget the £1000 in the 2nd 31 days!!!

A Token appears to be a little calculator type device presumably similar to the one M&S/HSBC use.

Without a token transfers out are limited to £500 per transaction and £1000 per day.

Our switches to Yorkshire & Clydesdale banks happened this morning as scheduled.

On my a/c I tested a £10 payment out and when this worked I tried paying in & out 2 lots of £500 to satisfy the switching bonus requirement only to have the 2nd payment rejected owing to the daily limit so I changed it to £490 and it went through.

The transaction limits are very low but I don't think it's worth bothering to order a Token if you're just in it for the switching bonus.

I had to use the token to transfer £250 to my Marks and Spencers bank account.

My Direct debits from the switched account have not appeared in the DD list on Yorkshire Bank, though they were listed in the switch letter I received. Is this because they dont appear until the first DD is called for later in the month?

It will be my main account so £1000 in 2nd 31 days is not a problem

    Almost certainly.

That has been my experience in some previous switches.

Maybe if you have a token then you always needs to use it even for transactions under £500.

The switch included 2 DDs. I have also created 2 new SOs in my account just to be safe. £1000 will be transferred soon via a SO followed by another SO 31 days later.

    Very easy.

My next victim will be TSB lol !!:D
  • Switch completed smoothly today including all DDs
