sorry to bend all your ears but it's been a bad day here,
Got to work to find out that due to the review currently underway my job is going, though i can apply for 3 other possible jobs, which have no job description so it's a shot in the dark.
Got home to letter from bank to say my bill account was overdrawn and they hadn't paid somethings and were charging me, the first person cut me off when i called, then turns out it's a 'computer' letter, my transfer did go in and there's no charges, just rang off when noticed that they had paid two cancelled DD on my other account, so yet another phone call with all the bloomin number punching necessary. Got the indemnity completed etc, but have no details of the company to tell them to stop applying for it. I know both the last two worked out but it's just the last straw.
And to top it all my dad is so ill we'll be lucky if he makes it till Christmas let alone my wedding next year! All i want to do is cry and my OH isn't going to be here till late tomorrow night.

I've got some good news...

My son has been called in for interview with a small software company on friday so he may not have to go and work in the stinking hell pit that is Cap Quest after all.

You know I'll be posting a " send positive thoughts" thread about 4pm on Friday afternoon.

(Oh powers that be please let him get this job... He's been feeling really down. )

thanks Jacks, feel a bit brighter and have a few days off work and OH will be here in a few hours so will get the well needed hug and some time to forget everything.
