    Now you're actually talking to them I would suggest your first step would be 1. asking them why they need the information (is there another way you can provide the required evidence) and 2. telling them it's a joint account and you do not have the permission of the second account holder to share their personal financial information.

    It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

    Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.

    It's quite reasonable for them to request a document they need which isn't redacted. Yes, your husbands information is on there etc. but who is to say you aren't blocking out something that would invalidate the policy?
