    Yeah that seems like a great way to end this discussion. Might have been easier to just walk away and be happy enough with your purchase despite d123 pointing out some facts to you..... :D

    He seems offended that I criticised his choice of retailer ;).

    I couldn't care less about you criticising who I bought it off - jesus, you're mad.

    No one even mentioned fraud, just the fact your “UK company” is likely simply a shop front for an HK company.

    Even if they are a HK company they commit no offence selling to UK residents, though the UK resident could be committing tax evasion when buying from them.

    Out of interest, if your phone came from a “UK company” why was there any mention of import duty/vat and why was any paid (even a partial payment)?
