For the love of gawd... Apart from the sheer perversity of insisting on using dibnah measurements in 2017, why on earth not reduce the fraction to 5/16"?

Sounds like it's less than clear then. If I wait another 2 or 3 thousand miles I'll have had 20,000 miles out of the fronts which seems reasonable so I'll change then.0

To those that commented on the imperial measurement use, yes, I know 10/32" is 8mm, hence my first post stating this. But, I then quoted the 10/32" as I took the measurement direct from a technical specification sheet I found for the tyre. Yes, it was from the USA.
I made the point as JP1978, and also it seems tedted, are clearly afflicted by the internet forum syndrome of "..if I haven't seen it, it can't be true...".
Here's a thought guys, things may go on in this world you've not come across.0 -
And, to answer the original question, I change at about 3mm, or when I notice the car starting to understeer more than usual.0

I think you'll find JP1978 was giving you a whoosh parrot because ilikewatch's post that you replied to was suggesting that he never gets a chance to wear the treads because they always seem to get damaged as soon as he puts them on.0 -
