I am sitting in a car park killing time between meetings, so I thought I would check in and let you know I survived the weekend. The children were as good as gold, but wow do they wear you out! The baby slept through the night, but I was like a new mum and kept waking up to check on her. The two year old was so good but is a bundle of true boy energy. I was so relieved when their parents came home. I got home about six, put my pjs on and collapsed into bed, too tired to even eat (bonus for the waistline).
I have had two NSDs and two really low spend days, just £3.48. I took a packed lunch and a flask todayI do like my fruit and had a melon that needed eating, so I chopped it up and put in a box to snack on, saved a fortune by not buying those silly little pots of ready prepared fruit or even a chocolate bar.
My mobile phone contract is due for renewal in two weeks. My phone is old and playing up so I am going to have to get a new phone rather than just a SIM card. I cannot have a landline because BT wanted £1000 to put one in, which is just ridiculous and I need my phone for work, so I do have a monthly contract. But I have done a bit of research and reckon I can knock £20 a month off my current bill whilst keeping my free call allowance and small data allowance (mainly for whatsapp with the kids). That's £240 a year, fantastic! I am working out all my small savings on a yearly basis and you can really see how they add up. I will catch up with you all laterDebt 04/11/22 - £0.00
