I Just Want To Retire Debt Free

A NSD today, instead I have been cleaning, tidying, cooking etc, so a very productive day all round. I used a recipe in the How Not to Die Cookbook to make Date Syrup. It was so easy to make and used up a half empty packet of pitted dates from the pantry. But oh dear, it is so delicious I am going to have to stop myself eating it by the spoonful! I did however use it instead of sugar to make some banana and walnut bread, which also used up some black bananas in the fruit bowl. Healthy and frugal, a real winner.
Leeks and Brussels Tops from the allotment for hubby’s dinner to go with a pie from the freezer. I am having a small stir-fry with toasted cashews, brown rice & quinoa, salad leaves, grilled avocado and hummus. I just fancied something lighter and healthier.Debt 04/11/22 - £0.00

First day back at work after just over two weeks off, that’s been a bit of a shock to the system. I work from home, but hubby is decorating our bedroom and the whole place is turned upside down. Not the most relaxing or productive environment to work in, but it is looking good.
Another NSD, which is good. No great money saving efforts today, but we did again eat out of the pantry, fridge and freezer. I saut!ed the leftover rice and quinoa in some water, chucked in a couple of tablespoons of kimchee and a handful of chickpeas. I served with a salad. It was actually very tasty. I did find 26p on the floor, obviously fallen out of hubby’s pockets when I sorted out the washing. But hey, finders keepers.Debt 04/11/22 - £0.00
