Good morning everyone. Reluctantly up and ready to go to work after a rubbish night's sleep.. DD is resisting, but she will soon see that it is futile. She needs to vacate her pit NOW!

WM loaded ready for when I get back.

    Have a good day everyone.

I too have had a rubbish night's sleep. Both boys were up and dressed by 6.40am this morning and I feel like I've got a hangover, which is unfair as I've not drunk any alcohol for ages!

Another spat on site yesterday involving one of the previous shouty builders and another lad. Consequently, my drive is knee-deep in mud, the paddock is a quagmire and only half the work planned for yesterday has been completed. I think I'm going to have to speak with the man in charge today, which I'm dreading...

In the plus side, I'm sporting a new sleek hairdo, which despite it being rather shorter than expected, DH says he loves! I nearly fell down stunned.

Looooonnnggggg list of jobs today, so let's get cracking! Hugs all round x
  • I can't wash up I am deaf in one ear. Just said to me in all seriousness by DS1 when I moaned about the dirty glasses and empty beer bottle that have magically appeared in my tidy kitchen. I give up, i am off to bed with my book.

Sorry YL but that made me splurt my tea onto the laptop :rotfl: hope he has managed to tidy up now!

    Morning all :)

Up early again so I have:

    - put a spag bol in slow cooker
    - Unloaded DW, cleaned out filter and put a DW cleaner in it
    - Pegged out
    - Made beds
    - Organised school and swimming bags

About to make myself some brekkie - kiddies playing nicely and already dressed. Flying today will be at MiLs - she is making me a nice lunch and taking DD swimming for me so I don't mind! Still on a high from my decision making yesterday - anyone else lumbered with a responsibility they don't want, make today the day you get rid of it.

    Have fab days all xx

    Happy Birthday Valli!

Today I shall be trying to do some more of the things I didn't complete yesterday (where does the time go?), going to SW (too much cake this week) and back to college, as well as doing the usual walks with Rosie.

See you all later - sounds. Like lots have already got off to a good start x
