Morning, thanks for the lists, I'm here
Just popped up to town as kiddies went in to school early with the rain so we weren't stood outside. And the library wasn't even open yetso I'll have to go back later, when there will be nowhere to park.
Slept loads better last night. Thankfully.
I think my MAD half hours really need to be sorting my dining room sales pile. It's ridiculous. It's been there all summer. Maybe if I don't deal with it this week, I will just take it to b@nardos.
Will do a general flick around with the duster too, I think, and sweep the piggy cage _pale_Bossymoo

Welcome back Mumto5! :wave:Well, my house is a sty.. my mission for this week
Keep breathing.
OH has trial shift at a restaurant tomorrow and an interview for a trainee swimming instructor Tuesday and a Tesco delivery guy later in the week.. he HAS to get something closer to home with sensible hours soon right? He can't be in a factory 50 miles away forever surely?! I NEED him too.
A good start, the keeping breathing.
Yes, if your OH has a job and is applying for things more locally, he WILL be successful. (I hope very soon, for your sake and his.)Rosie's toys. She has now added the squeaky James Pond duck from the bathroom to her stash.
I hope you have a lovely Flymeet with Dizzy when you've sorted the arrangements.
OH disappeared off to London for a couple of days early this morning, so I took have been hard at it for a couple of hours. Everything's been tidied and I'm carrying on with my ruthless decluttering - every time I open a cupboard for any reason, at least three things have to be decluttered. I'm sick to death of moving stuff about; it has to GO.
Laundry all sorted into loads, WM on, kitchen cleared, stuff tidied away, loo scrubbed and I'm now going to deal with the two letting rooms and then start hacking the summer's exhuberant growth that is threatening to overtake the sundeck. I have a lovely Salvia that's perking up a corner and gives me a lift every time I see its little delicate flowers - I need to clear areas that are overgrown and see what else I've got that needs space, air and light around it. Then I'll do the same to the pots on the front steps because it's the last garden collection of the year later in the week.Better is good enough.0 -
Well today has scuppered half my plans already .. it is raining.. laundry will have to wait.. Twinkle is not very well at all and is a limpet so I doubt I'm getting anything done... I did get to post office though.. and Pixie is off school today.. she still has no voice, a awful croupy cough and is just not right.. I know it is only a cold but it is only foundation class so I'm sure she won't miss too much colouring!
Now I have Eeyore saying he doesn't want to go to college.. tough.. get gone..

Went for a scan yesterday, was glad they booked for a Sunday as it meant no time off work but now I'm only in Friday and lunchtimes this week ohand afterschool club at the end of the week.
Took some baby hats and bead bags with me and gave those to the wards that need them.
Right better get on I've faffed too long. XSPC~12 ot 124

I hope the scan didn't show anything to worry about, and was straightforward Mrs MP.
Kelpie has learned to jump the barrier at the bottom of the stairs. This is a disaster of immense proportions, not the least of which is that he's hoovered up all the cat food left lying around so I've got to dose him up to prevent a meltdown and find another way of restricting his movement.

Morning,
Unscheduled day off work. Himself kept me awake writing, so I got up and joined him at about 3am (having already politely asked if he was going to continue for much longer at midnight). Once he was getting grumpy that he couldn't get the rhythm I was suggesting, I bit his head off, told him it was perfectly simple and yes, he should have no problem with it at all because he is a significantly better player than me and I can effing do it without the place being lit up like Blackpool Illuminations - and pointed out that I was only there because I couldn't sleep from the noise/light/disturbance, so perhaps he'd consider doing this *stuff* during daylight hours like normal people - when I'm at work - if he didn't want to have to deal with me in less than a great mood.
He stormed off, shut the bedroom door and I immediately went to sleep in the spare room, but unfortunately, my alarm was in with him - and he didn't hear it or his own.
Woke up just as I was supposed to be walking in the front door of work, felt groggy, dizzy and nauseous with the start of a splitting headache, so phoned in (with the nauseous bit, they don't need to know the context of feeling so rough). And then made sure he was up. He's been slumped on the sofa like a dying swan ever since. Because he's tired, apparently.
If he doesn't buck his ideas up in the next half hour, I'm getting the vacuum cleaner out (and putting my earplugs in). In the meantime, going to have a go at the kitchen - I can't exactly go wandering about town now, can I?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Quick thought .... I love the mad half hour's - I've used them to tackle my dining room aka dumping ground, its so bad I have moved table and chairs into kitchen - my nan downsized from a 3 bed to a one bed and I have boxes and boxes of stuff that i was supposed to carboot but was never well enough - so i started sorting last week and even put a few things on the Facebook sales pages and to date have made £1100
