Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Poor Kelpie! (I know you wouldn't really, HB)

    Disambiguation: movements. Quite right, Ionafan.

My spare stairgate is 10cms to narrow to do the job so I've got the laundry basket propped up behind the all-too-obviously-too-low barrier. It doesn't look good and as it's the first thing people see when they walk in I'm going to have to do something about it.

Sorry you're having such a tedious day AKLMatthews. I hope things are perking up.

Bit of a Catch 22 situation, Lamewolf, isn't it? Still, you can drift about being and looking fabulous while you wait for Dog Day to arrive.
    Better is good enough.

Could you put a small piece of wood on wall where sharegate fits to it so it fits properly hope that makes sense

Such a productive day. I have eaten several frogs and decluttered several responsibilities which I really didn't want to have anymore. Feel so much lighter :j

Also decluttered a bag of stuff to the CS and some clothes back to a friend.

I really need to watch the pennies at the minute but I'm feeling very :money:

    Have lovely evenings all xx

  • Hi everyone

Lots of busy flyladies on here. I have just cleaned my oven. I actually thought that it wasnt too bad. I was wrong. Made a right old mess of the sink while I was at it so that has had a good clean too.

Kitchen floor needs washing but I think I will leave it till tomorrow morning when everyone is in bed. I dont need to be out until half eight tomorrow.

I really should do a bit more on job no. 2. Really tired now though. I could do half an hour at least, it wont kill me.

Donnajt, it's amazing what you can achieve by just breaking each room / mountain of gibble down into bite-sized chunks and accepting that it won't all be perfect in a day, a week or even in my case a year. That's fine; working on it is what makes the difference. Well done for keeping going last week and selling stuff. In the end I decided I couldn't face another carboot sale and took the whole lot down to the CS. They were very grateful for it.
Hi Honey Bear, thank you for your reply, I have nearly completed everything on the Fly Lady list and my one list, but today was a stay at home alone day - can't believe its 7:30 and I've got school uniforms washed and on the clothes horse, dinner crap washed up and put away, homework completed (except the dreaded reading which means the 30 min argument ritual between me and DS before he finally gives in and begrudgingly reads to me!). I have been gifting on facebook also and imagine that quite a lot will go to CS, it's a nightmare as nan hasn't packed things together so i have a rather beautiful set of teacups but yet to find the saucers, I think I am going to keep the table in the kitchen now and make the dining room into a second lounge - however, by next week i could completely have changed my mind lol .. right going to treat myself and the dog to a 15 min walk x

Spent almost 2 hours in the vets with Poppy as she needed her stitches out. Place was rammed, as per (or should that be purr?) *giggle* they are starting an appointment system next week, so that's good. My visits there are usually routine so time will be saved. And I might stand a chance of parking in the vicinity.

Have also cancelled my 3* boiler cover, given the boiler is SNAFU (? Not sure if usage correct there) so that's saved me over £500:money::money::money:

DS is 24 today. One of three birthdays in the family today and tomorrow and two of them are in this house!

Going to shower shortly. We will skip over SW :eek::eek:

  • I can't wash up I am deaf in one ear. Just said to me in all seriousness by DS1 when I moaned about the dirty glasses and empty beer bottle that have magically appeared in my tidy kitchen. I give up, i am off to bed with my book.
