Ah, the long shower. I gauge the mental health of my DS by the length of time he spends in the shower. A good day today, I didn't even notice him going in & out. One day last week - over 30 mins, definitely a bad day.

Happy Birthday to DS, hope you have a relaxing day today x

  • Today is going to be another busy day. I've already swept the kitchen floor, tidied the kitchen, put a box in the shed and moved some of DS3's uni belonging out of the hall and upstairs to be sorted at some point.

The freezer is being delivered between 8.20 and 9.20am :T and between 9.00 and 9.30am the insurance floor people are coming to inspect the flood damage. I hope they don't arrive at the same time .

After that I need to shower and go to work.

I'm wrapped up DS1's two presents. We don't even have a card for him yet :(. He was with us at the supermarket yesterday so we couldn't get one then. I've never felt this disorganised with a family birthday before :(.

At some point hopefully this morning we can fit in buying DS1 a card and some chocolate. I've given up on the socks as I don't think we'll have time for that and DH is being uncooperative.

Hi HHD :) Just catching up. Sorry to read you're feeling so stressed out with everything lately.

I think 2 or 3 presents, birthday cake, nibbles and friends round to celebrate sounds a great day. TBH we don't do much more for ours now they're getting older.

I'm smiling at the hour shower. DD is home and don't we know it. :o Not a cup to be found unless you look on her windowsill, and she ran a bath last night then had a shower afterwards to wash her hair  And if that's not bad enough she didn't tell us what she was doing so we were all sat here with our legs crossed - we're a one bathroom house as well.

Hope DS enjoys his day and you do as well. xx
