I don't think anyone could accuse you of frittering HH. I hope you've had a little treat just for you out of the money, even a small oneI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

. Yes I have had some treats. I've had some new clothes for work and leisure, which I'm very pleased with as I love having nice clothes
.
I'm also going to get my hair trimmed this holiday at a proper hairdresser.

So glad you are treating yourself HH! It's lovely to have some new things. I bought a couple of skirts last month for work and realised I hadn't bought any for a good few years. I love wearing them!

I love how you have been treating yourself to new clothes and things. That is lovely.
I can see your emergency funds too, and that must be such a nice feeling to know what you have. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -
Thanks Nicnak
. It is a great feeling have the emergency funds. Even though work needs doing on the house, I'd rather have it in the EF at the moment for security and peace of mind.

Today has been another productive day so far :T.
First thing this morning DH and I scanned the two long forms and emailed them to the ombudman along with the rejection letter from the bank, so now they can properly investigate my complaint. Even if the ombudsman rules against me at least I won't blame myself for not even trying :T.
After that I ironed one of DH's new shirts and made myself available in case he needed any help with preparation. Then DH went off to visit the new client and he dropped me and DS1 in town on the way.
I finally bought myself a smaller tabard, well worth it I think to have one that actually fits me. Then I bought a 42L Really Useful Box to store some of the DC's old toys. I want to get out some old toys that are currently in bin liners in the void. The ones that the DC want to keep can go in the new storage box which will protect them better. I'm hoping they won't want to keep too many! Then DS1 and I had coffee which came to about a fiver. Finally we went to Mr T and bought diet cokes for me, and food and drink for the DC.
Spends were:
£4 tabard
£15.99 Really Useful Box
£5 approx on coffees
£10.28 in Mr T
£3.20 bus fares
So a bit of a spendy day, but I did return two tops to a shop which will put £34 back into my account :T :money:.
This evening I'm going to Pilates with my friend which will be good as I havent been for two weeks. I'll be a bit achey afterwards  but it will do me good and it'll be nice to catch up with my friend. I'm glad Pilates doesn't stop for the holidays.

Hi Hairy - I'm so pleased that you've treated yourself to some new clothes - and I don't think you've been frittering - you needed a new oven and it will last a long time. Also agree on prioritising the EF - once you have a nice amount under your belt for emergencies you can concentrate on savings for things around the house.
