Morning HHD
Great news about your husband's new client. I wouldn't be too bothered about looking for a oven either. My only criteria would be as long as it roasted the weekly chicken that would be fine by me. :rotfl: Last day of term today - have a good one. xx

Argos are great for their speedy, convenient deliveries, well worth the £3.95 charge. Brilliant customer service too if anything goes wrong, replacement straight away and no questions asked.
Thanks SA. It's good to know you recommend Argos.
Oh a self cleaning oven, jealous!
I think getting the oven is a more economical idea than getting the combi, though they are handy for a backup or smaller meal.
I hope it really does self clean. I agree that th oven is more important.

Thanks TF2. We've never bought an oven before so I suppose I should be excited, but like you I only care if it will cook a chicken and a family pie :rotfl:. In our last house we had a second hand one gifted to us and since moving here we've used the one that was already in the kitchen.

Well I've finished for the Easter holidays now and actually have mixed feelings.
I do need to do my assignment, plus there is some voluntary homework I want to do for school to make me feel better prepared and more useful. I also need to clean, tidy and de-clutter the house which desperately needs it.
But I'm dreading my mum's intermentand I'll miss the children and staff at school. Also I'll miss having somewhere to go each day, so I'll need to find a way to get out of the house most days.
This afternoon I've transferred some more money to my new Mr T savings account so I have £2005 in there now :T. I've also put some laundry on to wash.
Now I'm attempting to fill in the two long and detailed forms that the ombudsman sent me about my packaged bank account . I need DH to help me fill in parts of it as I'm not sure what to put, so I'm waiting until he's available to help me do it.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Well DH and I have filled in the forms for the ombudsman :T so I just need to email them. I may as well email them on Monday morning as I don't suppose they work weekends! It's a relief to get that finished
. I just hope they rule in my favour.
DH has ordered an oven from Argos. It was £309 and will be delivered on Tuesday :T. It will be nice cooking more variety of meals.

I forgot to mention that DS2 is flying home tonight :T. I haven't seem him for a month so it will be nice to see him and have the whole family home again
. Unfortunately he arrives in the middle of the night . This is one of the few times that I'm glad I don't drive

Regarding your mum's interment, are you burying her ashes or has it been held up by the inquest? Just what you don't need to bring it all back to the forefront again. Stay strong xx
Try to enjoy your time off work, you'll soon be back.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
